I had a great stay there as the staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was lovely, clean and spacious. Location was great and the food was delicious. Could not ask for more to be honest. I had a very pleasant stay and I would definitely go back and recommend the hotel.

I had a great time in Downings and the Downings Bay Hotel was lovely ....the food is excellent ....the Dexter beef was amazing ....you can't beat the location either ...staff are helpful and friendly ....every room has an iron and ironing board...a lovely touch ...no need to ask ....I'd certainly stay here again .....

As always the Downings Bay Hotel lived up to its great recommendations. For 15 years my friends and I have been going to Downings, and the hotel has always provided great service. The only thing I would say is that when the empire club is on, there is no quiet side of the building.
