The hotel is just a few minutes drive from Rosapenna's two famous golf courses, and is within easy driving distance of Portsalon, Dunfanaghy and Letterkenny Golf Clubs.

With two beautiful beaches close by, this is the perfect place for a family break. Guests of the hotel have complimentary use of our excellent near-by Leisure Centre, and also of Kidz Kingdom, our near-by soft play centre. Both are a few minutes drive away. Whatever the occasion, we will endeavour to make your stay memorable.

All our bedrooms have recently been tastefully redecorated with soft furnishings, famous McNutts tweed bed throws, colour television, tea/coffee making facilities, hairdrier, trouser-press & iron and direct-dial data-port telephones, security lock cardkeys.

The Haven Restaurant is our fine dining restaurant here at the Downings Bay Hotel. Relax in peaceful surroundings as our team of dedicated staff tend to your every need. All our produce is locally sourced and cooked to order by our head chef Conor to guarantee ultimate freshness. Come along and sample fine dining at its best with dishes such as our 'Fresh battered Scampi' or 'The Bay Seafood Sharing Board'. Treat you and your loved ones to a meal in the Haven Restaurant and you are guaranteed a warm welcome and outstanding food here at the Downings Bay Hotel.
