Location was the reason for us choosing this hotel,,, and as we stayed there last year it was an easy decision ri rebook the same place. Again the staff were excellent at all times,and great food too..

Maybe the WiFi service,,but time to get off the social media treadmill and get out and enjoy the fresh air,,scenery and just chill out in a fabulous location

Very central location, the hotel has been updated and modernised which made for a comfortable stay. The food was very nice in the bar and breakfast was a nice experience. Staff were very friendly and helpful also, this made the stay extra special.

Efficient and friendly staff. Clean hotel Excellent room clean, spacious and comfortable. Good central location within the town

We were made welcome . Everyone was so nice. The food was fantastic. Bed and room comfy and homely.

We found the golfers were loud and some of them had disgusting language, but that's not the hotels fault.

Excellent value for money in a beautiful quiet hotel.Extremely clean and lovely staff

The breakfast set up….I can see it’s a cost saving approach but I felt bad asking for some items of the hot breakfast.A self service buffet breakfast is much nicer.

Perfect location for enjoying all that this part of Donegal has to offer. Very well maintained hotel. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast was very tasty and there was a wide selection available. Very good food available in the bar too.
What did you not like about your stay in the property or location?
Visitors need to be aware that Downings is a party town in high summer and can get noisy. Although it was very noisy one night we were well placed in the hotel to ensure we got a good night’s sleep.
